Updating Payment Method
This guide explains how to update your payment method for your RouteRef subscription.
Note: Only account owners can manage billing settings.
Accessing Payment Settings
- Log into the admin panel as the account owner
- Click the Billing tab
- Click Manage Billing to open the Stripe Customer Portal
Updating Your Card
In the Stripe Customer Portal:
- Click Payment methods
- Click Add payment method
- Enter your new card details
- Click Add
- Set as default if desired
Removing Old Cards
- In Payment methods, find the card to remove
- Click the menu (three dots)
- Select Delete
Note: You must have at least one valid payment method to maintain your subscription.
Supported Payment Methods
RouteRef accepts:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
- Discover
Payment Security
- All payments are processed securely by Stripe
- RouteRef never stores your full card number
- Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified
Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
- You'll receive an email notification
- Update your payment method within 7 days
- We'll automatically retry the charge
- Service continues during the grace period
