Upgrade to a higher plan

Plan Upgrades

Upgrade your RouteRef plan to get more zones, users, and features.

Note: Only account owners can change plans.

Available Plans

| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Zones | Admin Users | |------|---------|--------|-------|-------------| | Standard | $49/mo | $490/yr | 30 | 3 | | Pro | $99/mo | $990/yr | 100 | 10 | | Enterprise | $249/mo | $2,490/yr | Unlimited | Unlimited |

When to Upgrade

Consider upgrading when:

  • You're approaching your zone limit
  • You need more admin users
  • You want priority support (Pro+)
  • You need unlimited capacity (Enterprise)

How to Upgrade

  1. Log into the admin panel as the account owner
  2. Click the Billing tab
  3. Click Manage Billing
  4. Click Update plan or Change plan
  5. Select your new plan
  6. Confirm the change

Upgrade Billing

When you upgrade:

  • Prorated credit: You receive credit for unused time on your current plan
  • Immediate access: New limits apply immediately
  • Next invoice: Shows the prorated amount

Example

If you upgrade from Standard ($49/mo) to Pro ($99/mo) halfway through your billing cycle:

  • Credit for ~$24.50 unused Standard time
  • Charge for ~$49.50 Pro for remaining time
  • Net charge: ~$25 for the upgrade

Downgrading

You can also downgrade to a lower plan:

  1. Go to Manage BillingChange plan
  2. Select the lower plan
  3. Change takes effect at next billing cycle

Warning: Before downgrading, ensure your usage is within the new plan's limits. Excess zones or users may need to be removed first.

Annual vs Monthly

Switch between billing cycles:

  • Monthly → Annual: Save ~17%, billed immediately for the year
  • Annual → Monthly: Change takes effect at renewal

Enterprise Features

Enterprise plan includes:

  • Unlimited service zones
  • Unlimited admin users
  • Dedicated support
  • Custom integrations available
  • SLA guarantee
